Peggy is the owner/operator of Landscapes and Gardens in Saint John , N.B. She is an honors graduate of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro , from their 'Landscape Horticulture' program. She is one of three designers in Atlantic Canada to have achieved 'Certification Status' through The Atlantic Association of Landscape Designers (AALD) Certification Program.
Peggy started her own Landscape and Design business in 1995, after having worked in various aspects of the industry for eleven years in N.B. and B.C.
Landscapes and Gardens is a Design/Build operation. All of the Design Work is done by Peggy, then, with the help of her crew, she installs her plans so that each project is completed to her specifications.
The scope of work which is performed by Landscapes and Gardens includes installing shrub and perennial beds, flagstone and paver walkways and patios, raised plant beds using various types of landscape blocks, new lawns and pruning of trees and shrubs. Garden Maintenance and Spring/Fall cleanup are also performed.
Peggy is an active member of the Atlantic Association of Landscape Designers. She has just finished serving one term as President, and has chaired numerous committees within the association. She is also a long standing member of the New Brunswick Horticultural Trades Association and the Canadian Nursery Landscape Trades Association.
